Should I crosspost my finished and/or in-progress fics here? And if so, does one typically put multichapter fics into different posts and just link them to each other? Is there a way to sort them? How do people usually tag these things for organization??

Hmm - it probably wouldn't be worth it for comments (not a lot of people seem to read fic on DW), but it can be useful to post links here if you've just posted/updated a fic, for people who might follow you on DW but not AO3. And it can be nice to have a back-up version of the fic posted in full somewhere besides AO3, just for peace of mind if you're worried about a site going down someday.

Yeah, for multichapter fics, usually I've made each chapter a separate post and made sure that each one has links to all the previous chapters (and that the first chapter posted has links to all the chapters posted after it). (You can also update previously posted chapters with links to the next one after it's posted, although I've been lazy and haven't always done that.) There usually isn't a way to sort them, and for tagging - well, on my writing DW account, I generally only tag the fandom + a couple of genre tags (+ "fanfic" and "prose," since there's some original stuff/poetry on there, too) and have the fic's title/summary in the subject line, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this as an organizational system. Especially if you do a lot more pairing-heavy stuff or chaptered stuff.

I say do it if you want! I agree with Hokie, you're unlikely to rustle up vastly more attention, but I personally like cross-posting for my own archival satisfaction.
